Staff

  1. Select the “LVUSD” network in Wifi settings on your computer.
  2. When prompted for username and password, enter your district credentials.
    1. Username: First part of your email address (If your email is testingtim@lvusd.org, enter only testingtim).
    2. Password: Same password you use to login to email.
  3. You are now connected to the district network, and have wireless internet access at all district sites.

Students

  1. Select the “LVUSD” network in Wifi settings on your computer.
  2. When prompted for username and password, enter the following information:
    1. Username: Your Network ID, found in Aeries.
    2. Password: Your PermID, also found in Aeries.
  3. You are now connected to the district network, and have wireless internet access while at school.

Guests

  1. Select the “LVUSD-Guest” network in Wifi settings on your computer.
  2. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to any website. You will see our “Acceptable Use Policy” page, which you must Accept to gain network access.
  3. Once Accepted, you will see a “Login Successful” message on your screen, and you will be able to leave the page and browse the internet, with limited access.

Basic Printing

  1. Enter the Start menu by clicking the Start button on the Windows taskbar.
  2. Type “Devices and Printers” in the search bar and press enter.
  3. Select “Add printer” at the top of the window.
  4. Select “Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer”.
  5. Select “The printer that I want isn’t listed”.
  6. Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname” then click Next.
  7. Enter the information on the label on the front of the printer in the “Hostname or IP address” field.
  8. In the dropdown menu select “Hewlett Packard JetDirect Ex (Single Port)” and click next
  9. If the driver is not automatically found, select the printer manufacturer in the left column, and locate the printer model in the right column. (Ex: Manufacturer- HP / Model- Color LaserJet 4700)
  10. For Printer name, type in whatever you would like to call the printer in your printing menu.
  11. If asked about Printer Sharing, select “Do not share this printer”.

Ricoh Printing

Credential Setup

  1. Click “Start” and type “Credential Manager”, then hit “Enter”
  2. Click “Add Windows Credential”
  3. Type the following information:
    1. Internet or Network Address: roi.lvusd.org
    2. Username: Your LVUSD email address
    3. Password: Your LVUSD password
  4. Click “OK” and close the Credential Manager

Black & White Configuration

  1. Click “Start”, then click on “Devices and Printers”
  2. Click “Add Printer”
  3. Click “Add a Network, Wireless, or Bluetooth Printer”
  4. Click “The printer that I want isn’t listed”
  5. Make sure “Select a Shared Printer by Name” is selected, then type the following:
    1. \\roi.lvusd.org\bw_pc
  6. Click “Next”, than click “Install Driver”
  7. Click “Next”, then “Finish”

Color Configuration

  1. Click “Add Printer” again
  2. Click “Add a Network, Wireless, or Bluetooth Printer”
  3. Click “The printer that I want isn’t listed”
  4. Make sure “Select a Shared Printer by Name” is selected, then type the following:
    1. \\roi.lvusd.org\color_pc
  5. Click “Next”, than click “Install Driver”
  6. Click “Next”, then “Finish”
