If you have an iPad from a previous year, and it has not been enrolled in ZuluDesk, please follow the Performing an iPad Reset instructions. This will automatically enroll your iPad in ZuluDesk, which will allow you to install desired apps.

App Management

Installing Apps

Paid apps are funded by the schoolsite/department. Apps cannot be funded from iTunes gift cards, and require an official LVUSD Purchase Order. For more information, please place a work order including the number of devices you want the app on, and the name of the app. Unfortunately, Apple does not allow in-app purchases for the District. If Apple changes this policy in the future, we will gladly support it.

  1. Locate the ZuluDesk app on your homescreen and open it.

  2. Under the “Apps” tab, find any apps you want to install, and press the “Get” button to begin the download process.

  3. The app will begin installation as soon as it can. This process can take a while, depending on the size of the app.

Updating Apps

We recommend that you turn on automatic app updates in Settings, under “iTunes & App Store” > “Automatic Downloads” > “Updates”.

  1. Open the iOS App Store.

  2. Navigate to the “Updates” section.

  3. Update any apps that appear on this page as frequently as possible.
